Many adolescents become depressed and experience anxiety. With the growing amount of societal pressures and developmental changes that an adolescent goes through, this comes as no surprise.

It’s okay to ask for help. On our planet Earth, we are here for each other. By choosing to focus on yourself at an early stage of life, you will be better prepared to deal with what comes your way throughout the rest of your life. Sure, life can be hard sometimes, but that doesn’t mean you have to suffer. Though there may be physical and mental pain, you have the capacity to increase your resiliency and tolerance so that you can cope with whatever life brings.

This is a sensitive time. Mood swings, social anxiety, conflicting thoughts, and feeling unsure are normal. Kendra takes these factors of increased vulnerability into account while engaging in therapy with adolescents.
